Someone Forgot the Sermon

At the time this story takes place, we do not know if St. Anthony was ordained yet. One possible story is that he was a cook. We went with that version in our story, so just be aware that that detail is not certain. It just made for the best story.

What is certainly known is the friars were not expecting St. Anthony to preach as well as he did.
