And here is his reply:

We also have pictures of Lincoln before and after whiskers advice.

Before (August 13, 1860)

Before (August 13, 1860)

After (February 9, 1861)

After (February 9, 1861)

We even have a picture of Grace Bedell.

For those obsessed with Abraham Lincoln, there’s a website called the Lincoln Log, which documents every day of his life (that we have records for). On October 19, 1860, you see him receiving and responding to Grace’s letter, and on February 16, 1861, you see him meeting her in person on the way to Washington.
